Taylor Jackson completed his B.A. in 2013 and M.A. in 2015 in political science at SFU. After SFU, he pursued a career in pubic policy which first led him to work for the think-tank The Fraser Institute for three years before recently starting his own public policy consulting practice. During his time in public policy, Taylor has coauthored a number of studies and commentaries on various topics, including: energy, mining, and environmental policy, entrepreneurship, and demographics, among others. He has also coauthored a book chapter with Professor Alexander Moens on the past, present, and future of Canadian-American relations.
Taylor has decided to return to school and undertake further graduate studies. He was recently offered admission to Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies and the University of Chicago’s Harris School of Public Policy. Taylor has accepted a fellowship at SAIS where his coursework will be focused on international economics and international political economy.
