Peggy Falkenheim Meyer, Professor. Before joining Simon Fraser University, Dr. Meyer was Director of the University of Toronto's Office of International Cooperation and an Associate Professor of Political Science at the University of Western Ontario. She specializes in international relations and comparative foreign policy with a focus on Russian relations with Japan, China and the Korean peninsula, Russian security perceptions, and Sino-Japanese relations. Her most recent publications have appeared in Pacific Affairs, Demokratizatsiya, Global Economic Review, International Journal of Korean Studies, Politics and Economics in Northeast Asia: Nationalism and Regionalism in Contention (St. Martin's Press, 1999), Russian National Security: Perceptions, Policies, and Prospects, (US Army War College, Center for Strategic Leadership, 2001), Political Change in East Asia: Volume II (Ashgate, 2003), Foreign Policy Realignment in the Age of Terror (The Canadian Institute of Strategic Studies, 2003),and ,"North Korea: The Politics of Regime Survival, (M.E.
