We are looking for a BI to join our home team for a lovely young boy. He is 5 years old who loves numbers, cars, books, pretend play sets. Our program focuses on ABLLRS-R curriculum, social skills, and communication.  Our team is composed of junior consultant, Vanessa Li, and Shaheen Bhagudi, BCBA. We will provide all training needed.

The student is a 11 year old boy who is still learning how to communicate in english. Our program goals focus on ABLLS-R curriculum, social skills, reading, writing. Sessions will be 2-3 hours. Exact days are flexible but must either be after school (4:30 pm onwards) or weekends. Wage dependent on performance and experience. 

Description:

We are looking for an experienced BI to join our home team for a smart and happy student. These sessions occur in their home. The student is a verbal 6 year old student who loves to play with cars, blocks, lego, etc. Our program focuses on executive functioning skills, social skills, social emotional thinking, and self-regulation skills. The pay is very competitive depending on experience and there is an opportunity to become a full time EA for this client in September. Our behavior consultant, Melody Hung, BCaBA, and Shaheen Bhagudi, BCBA, will provide all necessary ABA training.

Two sessions per week, two hours per session (i.e. 4 hours/week). Hourly wage ranges from $20-25 depending on experience level and quality of work.

Description:

A family is looking for a behavioral interventionist (BI) to work with a four year old boy who is diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Speech and Language Delay. This is a great opportunity for anyone wanting to pursue a career in ABA therapy, Behavioral Analysis & Consulting, special education or any related field. 

Ideal candidate would be:

  • a third to fourth year Psychology major who is passionate about early childhood education, special education and behavioral analysis
  • proficient and fluent at communicating in English 
  • caring, accountable, fun, energetic and punctual
  • committed to at least one year of service
  • at least 6 month experience working with children with Autism is required
  • prior knowledge about Autism and ABA is an asset
  • eligible to work in Canada
  • willing to complete a criminal record check

Your responsibilities include:

  • work with the child to implement goals set by the team through interactive play
  • participate in bimonthly team meetings to provide progress report, feedback and contribute to goal setting
  • record and track data

You will have the opportunity to:

  • receive on-going training and support from board certified Behavioral Consultant, and Speech and Language Pathologist
  • receive a glowing reference letter from BCBA and/or the family upon completion of one year of service
  • make a positive and lasting impact on a child's life and wellbeing of the family

This position will be available at the beginning of April, 2024. Sessions will be carried out either on weekends or weekday evenings. Sessions will be conducted at the family's home. Free parking is available onsite.

Hours & Wage:

Looking for 2-3 sessions a week, starting in February. Option 1: 8:30 am - 10:30 am (Monday to Friday); Option 2: 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm (Tuesday to Friday) (Note: We can be a bit flexible with hours).

Wage will be $20-$25 per hour.

Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and fun-loving Behavior Interventionist to join our team in supporting the developmental needs of our 3-year-old son, who is on the autism spectrum. Our approach involves utilizing the Relationship Development Intervention (RDI) method, which is play-based and child-focused. Currently, our focus is on playtime strategies, with no emphasis on academic teaching.

We are looking for an individual who: is enthusiastic and enjoys being part of a collaborative team; possesses a kind heart and the ability to multitask; and values the joy of witnessing children grow and develop skills.

The selected candidate will work under the guidance of our RDI therapist.
