Cities

Cities are complex living systems. To consider a city is to consider a myriad of interconnected issues: Urban planning and design. Housing and transportation. Parks and neighbourhoods. Business and politics. Arts and culture.

We program engagements around all these issues, often focusing on the communities within Metro Vancouver, but always with an awareness of, and in conversation with, cities around the world. And, of course, we can’t fully understand the urban experience without a view on the suburban and rural experience in contrast.
