Other ways to change your password

The Change your Password topic in the SFU Account Management WEB page is not the only way you can change your password. Here are some others:

  1. Using the Unix passwd command.

After logging into a Unix host (like fraser.sfu.ca) you can use the passwd command. You will be prompted for your old password and then for your new password twice.

  2. Using the Change Password... command in Eudora.

Once you have setup Eudora to connect to the SFU Mail Server (popserver.sfu.ca), you can use the Change Password... command (found under the Special menu). You will be prompted for your old password and then for your new password twice.

All the comments in the previous sections on selecting passwords apply no matter what method you choose to change your password.
