Join us in Vancouver on September 19-20, 2024, for the annual Applied Public Health Chair (APHC) meeting. This year's theme is "Advancing Equity in Applied Public Health Research and Practice: Sharing Our Knowledge."
Equity is central to all Applied Public Health Chair initiatives, and this meeting is a chance to exchange insights and enhance our research programs. Our overall objectives for the meeting are to:
- Learn from inspiring practices across multiple disciplines and domains of public health research
- Explore ways to advance equitable work within APHC programs
- Foster connections among chairs, trainees, decision-makers, and funders
The meeting will feature a mix of speakers, panels, and discussions focusing on equity in our work processes, research design, and outcome measurement.
While the meeting is in-person, select panels and presentations will be live-streamed for those unable to attend.
