Co-op Program

REM students remain in strong demand across several employment sectors, but most placements continue to be within the Federal and Provincial governments.

REM’s Cooperative Education (Co-op) Program provides opportunities for graduate students to work in governmental or private resource management organizations to gain professional experience. REM Co-op students, because of their background and Master’s-level training, bring high-level skills to their positions. Participation in the Co-op program is optional. However, this type of useful professional experience can lead directly to REM 699 Research Project topics and to employment upon graduation.

The REM Co-op program is run by the Environment Co-operative Education Coordinator Paul DeGrace. For more information, contact Paul at 778-782-3115.
