Understanding the Language

A repetition factor can be placed in brackets before a literal element to have the element repeated. For example, the statement

   answer={[2]  'Yes', [2]  'No'};

is equivalent to

   answer={'Yes' 'Yes', 'No' 'No'};

and results in the matrix

                                Yes   Yes
                                No    No
