Saving and Restoring Models

After creating a model network in the drawing panel, you may want to save it for use in future netWorks sessions. You can save your model in a SAS data set by selecting File\RightarrowSave As option from the menubar or by selecting the save.gif (207 bytes)button on the command panel. A dialog box appears for entering the name of the SAS library and data set for the saved model.

To load a model from a SAS data set, you use the File\RightarrowOpen option from the menubar and then select the appropriate SAS library and SAS data set from a dialog box. Note that the netWorks application does not automatically clear the drawing panel before loading a saved model but instead overlays it on an existing model. You can use the File\RightarrowNew option from the menubar to clear the drawing panel.
