Using Version 8 SAS Files with Previous Releases

It is possible to move SAS files between your Version 8 SAS session under OS/2 and earlier releases of the SAS System under OS/2 by using the CPORT and CIMPORT procedures.

Note: When you transport Version 8 files to previous releases, Version 8 features are not available from the transport file [cautionend]
