The ALPHA= option in the PROC REG statement sets the significance level for the construction of confidence intervals. Plots are now high resolution graphics by default, and you must specify the LINEPRINTER option if you want lineprinter plots. The TABLEOUT option now also outputs the upper and lower confidence limits to the OUTEST= data set.
In the MODEL statement, the CLB option requests confidence limits for
the parameter estimates. The ALPHA= option in the MODEL statement can
be used to set the significance level for the confidence limits
produced by the current MODEL statement. Otherwise, the ALPHA= option
in the PROC REG statement can be used to change the
level.
The MAXSTEP option specifies the maximum number of steps to take when
SELECTION=STEPWISE is used, and the SINGULAR= option for tuning
singularity-checking overrides the same option in the PROC REG
statement.
