TTEST Procedure

The TTEST procedure now performs t tests for one sample, two samples, and paired observations. The ALPHA= option in the PROC TTEST statement specifies the alpha level for the confidence intervals produced. The CI= option specifies that a confidence interval be produced for the standard deviation and that the confidence interval be either an equal tailed confidence interval or an interval based on the uniformly most powerful unbiased test of $H_0\colon \sigma=\sigma_0$ . The H0= option requests tests against m instead of 0.

The FREQ and WEIGHT statements are now supported. The new PAIRED statement identifies the variables to be compared in paired comparisons.
