Using the DBMS Interface Engines

To use the CA-OpenIngres, ORACLE, Oracle Rdb, or SYBASE engine, your site must license the corresponding SAS/ACCESS interface. In Version 8 of the SAS System, you specify these engines in the LIBNAME statement, the LIBNAME function, or the New Library dialog box, just as you do with the other engines. Each of these engines has DBMS-specific options that you can specify.
