Severity Level: informational

You can use the following command to see if the SAS logical names are defined for Version 8:

$ SHOW LOGICAL SAS*

If you receive this error message, the SAS System logical names are not defined on your system. Notify your SAS Installation Representative immediately. Refer your SAS Installation Representative to the Installation Instructions and System Manager's Guide for the SAS System for OpenVMS Alpha for information on how to set up the SAS logical names on your system.
