"A very special invitation to watch the stars come to Burnaby"

Starry Nights @ SFU, in association with the Vancouver Centre of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada (RASC), invite you and your family to a very special star party on Friday evening, April 17th to celebrate the completion of the Trottier Observatory and Science Courtyard. Along with refreshments and t-shirt giveaways, you will have an opportunity to check out breathtaking celestial treasures through our brand new 0.7-meter telescope.

Bring your telescope and set it up in the specially designed garden showcasing a galaxy of astronomy-inspired features.

If the weather is not suitable for stargazing, you will be treated to a short presentation and trivia quiz by Mr. Starry Nights, Howard Trottier in C9002 in the Academic Quadrangle. Check our website for final event information on April 17th.

Please be aware that photographs will be taken at this event and your photo, or your child’s photo, may be used for future promotional purposes.

We look forward to seeing you at this astronomical event!
