Mobile Web App (OWA)

You can access the mobile Outlook Web App (OWA) through the browser of any touch device (e.g., iPhone, iPad, Android).

Getting Started

Step 1

Starting at your home screen, open a web browser of your choice.

Step 2

In the address bar, type .

Step 3

You will be redirected to the SFU CAS login page. Enter your SFU credentials and press Sign In.


In Mail module, access your Inbox, or other mail folders by clicking on the hamburger icon in the top left hand side of your screen. The + icon in the top right hand side lets you compose a new message.

Note: When you first login to SFU Mail on your mobile browser, you may be prompted to download the Outlook Mobile App. This app has been blocked from use at SFU, therefore you will be unable to login to it. Find more information about this here.

Access the rest of your mail folders here, or scroll down to Sign Out. The gear icon will take you to your Options.  

In Options, you can set or manage your Automatic Reply, email signature, and perform other actions.

In the New Message window, you can compose a new message. Click the three dots in the Subject field to access more options.

Access several messaging options through the three dots.


In the Calendar module, scroll through your main calendar in day view to review your events. Click the hamburger icon to access your other calendars. Click the + icon to create a new event.

Access a mini month calendar, as well as your other calendars.

In the New Event window, create a new appointment or meeting. Click the three dots in the top right hand corner to access more options.

Here you can access the scheduling assistant, among other options.


In the People module, access and manage your contacts. Click the hamburger icon to access your other contact lists. Click the + icon to add a new contact.

Access your other contact lists, along with the Directory (Global Address List).

In the new contact window, fill in the various fields to add a new contact.
