Golf Canada has named Simon Fraser University senior Chris Crisologo to represent Team Canada as part of the 2018 National Amateur Squad.

Crisologo, 21, will be the squad's youngest member.

Crisologo is a three-time National Collegiate Athletic Association All-American, two-time Great Northwest Athletic Conference Player of the Year and the reigning West Region Player of the Year. He is one of eight athletes to comprise Team Canada’s National Amateur Squad, which includes four players on the men’s team and four on the women’s.

"These talented athletes are a product of a circle of support that includes personal coaches, parents and provincial high-performance programs and will proudly represent Canada on the global golf stage,” says Jeff Thompson, Golf Canada’s chief sport officer.
