Registrar Rummana Khan Hemani named acting vice-provost

On May 1, SFU Registrar Rummana Khan Hemani will step into the acting role of vice-provost and associate vice-president, students and international.

Hemani, an SFU alumnus who began working at SFU in 1990, has a deep knowledge of the university’s policies, systems and processes. She became the university’s seventh registrar in 2016.

During her time as acting vice-provost she will retain her official role as SFU’s registrar, but will relinquish her current duties as executive director, student enrollment.
