Did you know that 1 in 4 Canadians struggle to buy menstrual products?

SFU is teaming up with the SFSS Women’s Centre and United Way of the Lower Mainland to help. From March 8th to April 2nd, we will be collecting menstrual product donations across campuses to help individuals, both on-campus and in our communities, who cannot afford these essential items.

Make your #periodpromise and donate menstrual products including tampons, pads and diva cups at any of the drop-off zones:

Burnaby:

  • University Communications Rm. 2200, Strand Hall; M-F 9a.m. to 4p.m.
  • SFSS Women’s Centre TC3014; M-F 9a.m. to 4p.m.

Surrey:

  • Outside the Registrar’s Office on the Mezzanine

Vancouver:

  • In front of the security booth on the main floor

Since 1992, SFU has raised over $3.2 million for the United Way of the Lower Mainland. In doing so, we are committed in participating in the #periodpromise campaign to promote period-positive environments and help individuals in vulnerable situations with essential menstrual products. In addition, the SFSS Women’s Centre provides free menstrual products to students in need of them.
