What is it like to work on the front lines of a major pandemic? On our latest Below the Radar Pandemic Conversations episode, we meet Dr. Kevin Patterson, an ICU physician who works in critical care in Nanaimo. Dr. Patterson is also a writer and novelist.

In this conversation with host Am Johal, Dr. Patterson talks about his experience working in the front lines, what previous pandemics and outbreaks can teach us, and the impacts of climate change and density on how susceptible we are to disease.
