The 11th edition of Indian Summer Festival is just around the corner. From June 17th to July 17th, expect some of the most exciting artists near and far to be present on ISF’s brand new digital stage, as they address the exciting and timely theme of ’Shapeshifting’.

We can’t share too much right now, but we’re excited about an ISF project that’s cooking here at SFU Woodwards that we’ll co-present at Indian Summer Festival...that it involves the Dora Award-winning playwright and novelist Anosh Irani (also (a faculty member at SFU’s Department of World Languages and Literature). Is it a play? A film? A poem? A provocation? All will soon be revealed. So stay tuned!

We acknowledge that this event take place on the Traditional Coast Salish Lands including the Squamish (Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw), Tsleil-Waututh (səl̓ilw̓ətaʔɬ) and Musqueam (xʷməθkʷəy̓əm) Nations. Viewers may be watching from other territories.
