REEL 103 COMMENTARY

1. Guitarist singing in an enclosed courtyard, reverberant, quiet space. Quite good playing and singing. Applause at end.

2. Drier space, outside, close mic. Quite funny.

3-7. Recordist singing with old men, lots of voice and singing overlaps. Great!

3. Folk song sung by old guy.

4. Continued.

5. "When I'm Calling You".

*6. "Diamonds and Gold".

7. 0'40" person takes the microphone and tells us the truth.

8-11. Long drawn-out confession on the theme "Why am I a Bum?" Some good dramatic sections.
