Burnaby RCMP investigating hit and run

The Burnaby RCMP is asking the SFU community for help in locating anyone who was at the SFU Burnaby Campus on June 29, between 1:00pm and 1:50pm who may have witnessed a black Jeep Cherokee SUV (BC license plate D69335) traveling along SFU and UniverCity roads.

The vehicle (pictured here) may have been seen in the UniverCity neighbourhood and in the business area by Cornerstone and Nesters Market. It may have been involved in a fatal hit and run accident on Gaglardi Way that involved a cyclist.

The RCMP are asking anyone who may have dash camera footage of the vehicle, as well as any possible witnesses to the accident, to contact Constable Kevin Connolly at (604) 348-6795 or kevin.connolly@rcmp-grc.gc.ca.
