Laboratory and Equipment Decommissioning

A process of decommissioning is necessary for laboratories that are changing hands, are vacated or are undergoing renovations. Equipment decommissioning is required when equipment will be serviced or removed from a lab space for re-location or disposal. Decommissioning provides assurance that chemical and biological health and safety hazards are minimized for all personnel involved.
