Animal and Fish Carcasses
Animal and fish carcasses should be placed in heavy (high mil number) plastic bags and stored in a designated tissue freezer. The Anatomical Biohazardous Waste label is used to identify the contents, and to designate as either level 1 or level 2. Labels are available at Science Stores and through EHRS. Staff from the Animal Resource Centre will pick up the packaged tissues directly from the freezer and will arrange for their disposal.
