Work-Study Application - Spring 2011 updates

The Work-Study application for the Spring 2011 term opens November 8 and closes November 19. Apply online at http://sis.sfu.ca. Some changes have been made, so please read the introduction and application carefully. All students who apply during this time will be reviewed for Work-Study online prior to the start of term and will automatically be assessed for bursary funding eligibility by the seventh week of classes of the term of application (i.e. no need to re-apply for bursary funding during the Bursary period in January if you apply in November). If you are interested in bursary funding only for Spring 2011, you will be able to apply in January.

Note - The popularity of our Work-Study program in the Fall 2010 term has resulted in budget limitations for the upcoming Spring 2011 term.  A restricted number of Work-Study offers will be provided for Spring 2011.  Although you may meet all of the eligibility requirements to participate in the program, unfortunately, you may not receive an offer.  This applies to "preferred candidates" as well. For further information, please contact Financial Aid and Awards at fiassist@sfu.ca.
