Seminar in Health Economics ECON 470 (3)
Studies key empirical methods in economics and applies them to the topics in health economics. Covers basic concepts such as demand and supply for medical care and health insurance as well as some emerging issues. Prerequisite: ECON 201, ECON (or BUEC) 333. Students who have taken ECON 483 Selected Topics - Topics in Health Economics in Spring 2013, Spring 2014, Summer 2016, Spring 2017, Summer 2017, or Summer 2018 may not take this course for further credit.
