Spring term starts January 6, 2015; last day of exams is April 25.

Enrollment appointments begin online November 3, 2014; open enrollment begins November 24.

Classes: add/swap/change tutorial

January 12 (Monday) Last day to add classes, swap classes, change tutorials using the Student Information System
January 19 (Monday) Last day to enroll for class challenge or switch your challenge from one class to another or regular enrollment in a class, with permission of the department. (You can’t withdraw from class challenge without substituting a regular class.)
January 26 (Monday) Last day to add classes through the department, with permission of the chair and instructor. Last day to change tutorials through the department. Last day to change a class to audit status.

January 12 (Monday) Last day to completely withdraw from all classes with no notation on your academic record.
January 19 (Monday) Last day to drop a class using the Student Information System, without a withdrawal notation (WD) for the course on your academic record. If you are withdrawing from all classes, a withdrawal notation of "Withdrew YYYY-MM-DD" will be added to your academic record.
February 16 (Monday) Last day to drop a class using the Student Information System, with a Withdrawal notation on your academic record.
April 13 (Monday) Last day to apply to drop classes in the current term under extenuating circumstances (WE). (Applications received after this date will be considered retroactive and may take longer to process.)

Fees: payment and refunds/penalties

Payment
January 19 (Monday) Deadline to pay tuition and student fees. A 2% late fee penalty will be assessed after the due date and on the first of each month thereafter.
February 16 (Monday) Deadline to pay Co-op Practicum fees.

Refunds/penalties
December 1 (Monday) Last day for 100% refund of tuition.
December 2 (Tuesday) to January 12 (Monday) Penalty of $50 for each class dropped (maximum total penalty $100) during this period, if your net course load has decreased.
January 13 (Tuesday) to January 19 (Monday) Penalty of $100 for each class dropped during this period, if your net course load has decreased.
January 20 (Tuesday) No refund for courses dropped. A tuition drop penalty will be calculated and posted to your student account in the third week of classes. View your student account after January 20 for your outstanding balance. A 2% late fee penalty will be assessed after this date and on the first of each month thereafter.
February 20 (Tuesday)
Refund cheques REQUESTED for overpayment which are NOT related to scholarships and bursaries* are available for pickup, UNLESS payment has been made by personal cheque, which requires a 45 day clearance period.

November 3 – 21 (Monday to Friday) Work-study application period.
December 29 to January 16 (Monday to Friday) Bursary only application period.
January 16 (Friday) Deadline for application for private scholarships.

Grades online

April 17 (Friday) Grades from Spring term begin to be posted online.

Graduation application/cancellation

January 6 (Tuesday) Deadline to cancel application to graduate in June 2015 convocation ceremonies, if you are completing degree requirements in the Fall 2014 term.
February 20 (Friday) Early deadline to apply and pay for the early application fee on the Student Information System for graduation in June 2015 convocation ceremonies, if you are completing degree requirements Spring 2015 term. Note that the graduation fee will be charged for each degree, diploma and certificate for which you are applying.
April 10 (Friday) Final deadline to apply and pay for the regular application fee on the Student Information System for graduation in June 2015 convocation ceremonies, if you are completing degree requirements Spring 2015 term. Note that the graduation fee will be charged for each degree, diploma and certificate for which you are applying.
May 11 (Monday) Deadline to cancel application to graduate in June 2015 convocation ceremonies, if you are completing degree requirements in Spring 2015 term.
