Refunds by Direct Deposit and cheque schedule
To see if your refund has been processed, log in to your student account on goSFU. You will know your refund has been processed when you see "AP Refund" listed on the Account Activity page on goSFU. (After logging in, click on the Account Inquiry link under the Finances section, then click on the Activity tab. At the dropdown menu select Term.)

Overpayment refunds
Overpayment refund requests will not be processed during the first six weeks of the regular term:
January 11 - February 22 for Spring 2021
If payment was made by personal cheque, those payments will be refundable 45 days after the posting date (as displayed in your goSFU student record).
Refund cheques will not be printed in December, April and August (see dates below). Refunds via Direct Deposit will continue to be made during these months. Sign up for Direct Deposit.
Not all requests will be accommodated. You may be asked to provide additional information for your refund.

Student Loans Overpayment If too much money was deducted from your student loan as a result of your dropping classes or receiving an Entrance/Open Scholarship, the extra amount will be refunded in the third week of classes. To check your Student Loan Confirmation Date, log in at goSFU, and under Finances, click Student Aid and Award Profile. |
