Estimated costs for Canadian Students
The information provided contains estimated costs and include several items that may vary in cost depending on an undergraduate student's course enrollment, program of study, and other individual variables. It may also not fully reflect or include expenses related to a student's personal circumstances. Therefore, the estimated values are at best an approximation and cannot fully or accurately evaluate a final determination of costs associated with attending SFU or potential living expenses. Estimated values shall not be binding to SFU Student Services or the institution (Simon Fraser University) as a whole.
Notes and exceptions:
1 Tuition fees at the 200 level and above offered by the Faculty of Business Administration, the School of Computing Science, and the School of Engineering Science are higher: see Undergraduate tuition fees.
3 Student Society Health and Dental plan fees are normally paid at one time for the entire year. The Medical Services Plan, MSP, is paid directly to the government but is included here as a cost incurred to the student in a given term. New International Students are required to have short term primary medical insurance under guard.me@sfu in an SFU undergraduate, graduate or exchange program. Find more information on our Medical Insurance FAQ. Additional costs will apply.
4 Graduate tuition fees vary by program.
