City of Surrey Memorial Employee Entrance Award

Description:

The City of Surrey Memorial Entrance Award is offered to a student entering SFU who is a dependent of a City of Surrey regular full-time employee or dependent of a City of Surrey employee who has passed away. This award recognizes academic achievement and community involvement. To be eligible, regular secondary school applicants must have a minimum admissions average of 80% for the Faculty they have applied to (not rounded up) and IB diploma applicants must have the IB diploma score required for admission.

Entrance Award and Bursary Applicants coming from a BC/Yukon regular secondary school must self-report their grades by the deadline date.

Application Instructions:

The application must be submitted online by the deadline date. All other supporting documentation must be emailed to Financial Aid and Awards by May 15, 2018 at 11:59pm PST.

Supporting Documentation:

  • Reference form completed by a supervisor of your community involvement
  • Letter from the Human Resources office of the City of Surrey attesting you are a dependent of a City of Surrey regular full-time employee or dependent of a City of Surrey employee who has passed away
