Computing Science DDP (Dual Degree Program) Buddy Program
The SFU-Zhejiang University Dual Degree Program in Computing Science is uniquely designed for both Canadian and Chinese students to study together as a cohort for two years at ZJU, based in Hangzhou, China, and two years at SFU. The DDP Buddy program is a mentorship program designed to provide peer support for students newly admitted to the Dual Degree Program. Mentors will establish a rapport with their mentees through in-person meetings, virtual communication, and social events.
- Engage mentees via social media, face to face meetings and a variety of academic and social events.
- Provide guidance for new students regarding services, resources, events and other involvement opportunities both on and off campus.
- Act as a cultural and language partner where applicable.
