Student Sustainability Educator
The SFU Sustainability Office is looking for volunteers to help build a culture of sustainability at SFU by informing students, staff, and faculty of the different waste streams and disposal procedures, answering questions about the Zero Waste Initiative at SFU, and encouraging SFU community members to keep taking steps towards zero-waste in their everyday lives.
Student Sustainability Educators will be:
- Informing students, staff, and faculty of the different waste streams and disposal procedures by engaging with users and answering questions about the program.
- SSEs will be demonstrating how to use the new stations in person through a variety of methods, including fun and engaging games and activities.
- Monitoring the success of the Zero Waste program by conducting waste audits and providing feedback to the Sustainability Office.
