SFU Thrive Week

Join us from January 27 to 31, 2020, as we celebrate Thrive Week with a series of events geared to support your mental and physical health.

Thrive Week is about taking action to create positive well-being at SFU and beyond. It's about making SPACE for well-being through social connection, physical health, awareness, contribution, and emotional health; continuing the conversation around mental health on #BellLetsTalk Day; learning about resources on campus; and changing our perceptions as a community.

Make time to THRIVE and join our drop in events below!

Monday, January 27: Thrive Through Connections

2:00pm to 3:30pm - Surviving to Thriving

Surviving to Thriving is a series of three stand-alone workshops targeted towards developing graduate students’ skills in the areas of mental health, communication, time management, and supervisor relationships. In this session, we will be discussing Imposter Syndrome and you will learn about research on the topic, hear others’ experiences and reflect on your own, and discover some concrete tools for dealing with the thoughts, feelings, and behaviours associated with feeling like an imposter.
