Thriving with ADHD/ADD

Learn strategies to understand ADHD and ADD to support yourself, as well as your mental health, work, and relationships.

Thriving with ADHD/ADD is a series of four virtual workshops hosted by Ly Hoang, Clinical Counsellor, and Britt Phillips, Mental Health Nurse. Workshops are open to students with ADHD and/or ADD, students with executive functioning challenges (time management, procrastination, motivation, impulsivity, etc.), and students who have family, partners or friends with ADHD/ADD symptoms.

About the facilitators

Ly Hoang, MA, RCC: Ly holds a Masters in Counselling Psychology from the University of San Francisco. Counselling sessions with Ly are focused on building self-efficacy by identifying strengths and fostering resiliency.

Britt Phillips, RPN: Britt holds a Diploma of Psychiatric Nursing from Douglas College and has 8 years of experience working in the field of psych nursing. After spending 5 years working with children and youth at BC Children’s hospital in various mental health programs, Britt joined SFU’s Health and Counselling team.
