About The Facilitators

Daniele Doucet (she/her/they/them)

Daniele is a registered psychologist and clinical sexologist with twenty years of counselling experience. She has a PhD in Human Sexuality and is a doctoral candidate in Counselling Psychology at the University of Calgary.

While Daniele has worked extensively with a wide variety of clients over the years, a large part of her practice has been devoted to supporting LGBTQ+ clients in the varying personal and relational challenges they face across the lifespan. She has considerable experience doing relationship therapy, including alternative relationship structures (eg. Consensual non-monogamy & kink relationships), and has helped clients with individual and relational issues around sexual functioning, low libido, and tensions around sexual and gender identity.

With a friendly and collaborative style, Daniele uses an integrative emotionally focused approach to therapy, rooted in feminist, anti-oppressive, and social justice principles.
