The Global Peers are a dynamic group of students from diverse backgrounds working to celebrate diversity and promote inclusion. This is a student-driven initiative that focuses on building intercultural awareness and understanding across the SFU community.
Global Connections Program is a peer-support program designed to support new students from international pathways. The program is led by a team of student staff and a group of dedicated student volunteers, known as Community Leaders.
The Exchange Buddy Program is a social network that connects SFU students with exchange students coming to SFU. You'll expand your international network of friends and enrich your university experience.
Study Abroad Ambassadors represent International Services for Students at campus events, where they engage prospective students and promote Study Abroad programs.
The SFU WUSC (World University Service of Canada) Local Committee is responsible for the integration and well-being of the sponsored refugee students and help with adjustment to life in Canada and provide social support.
