Join Our Team

The Global Connections Program is here to help new students from international pathways adjust to life in Canada and make the best out of their time at SFU.

Why join the Global Connections team?

The program is led by a team of student staff and a group of dedicated student volunteers, known as Community Leaders. Community Leaders are current students (any returning international and domestic undergraduate students) who collaborate together to host program events and meet ups for the program members. Together, they host peer-to-peer discussions, sharing tips from their time at SFU and celebrating diversity through intercultural socials.
