Fall – Month of Welcome

Whether you are new or returning to SFU, this is the place to find all of the fun, informative and interactive virtual events happening during the first month of the Fall term.

Month of Welcome will celebrate the start of the Fall term, connect you with fellow students, and get you excited to explore all that SFU offers to you. You can join online community activities and events to meet new people, connect with peers who have similar interests, learn about the variety of student clubs and groups to get involved with, and be entertained and informed.

It all kicks off on September 7 with Welcome Day! A virtual one-day, university-wide fun, engaging and interactive welcome and orientation event for all SFU students.

More details to come! Please come back often to check for new and upcoming events. We can’t wait to see you!

Social Events + Community Connections

Connecting with fellow students is an important part of your university experience that will help you succeed. Through your participation in a variety of non-academic events you will be connected and immersed in the SFU culture, and you will experience a sense of belonging as an active member of the SFU community.

This is a perfect place to reconnect with friends, and meet new people too.
