Are you a new undergraduate student coming straight from high school? Are you transferring from another post-secondary institution? Are you an international student? We have a whole suite of orientation activities for you!
Welcome Day is for all new undergraduate students. During this day you will:
- meet your professors, classmates and the SFU staff who will help launch your time at SFU;
- find out more about your program of study;
- get comfortable on campus; and
- receive SFU swag, including a t-shirt.
You don't need to pre-register for Welcome Day. Bring your 9-digit student number and know your faculty (check your admission letter) when you check in in the morning.
Taking classes at another campus
Starting in a program based at the Surrey or Vancouver campus? This Welcome Day is intended for you as well! You will meet staff from your faculty, as well as fellow classmates, even if you won’t be taking classes at the Burnaby campus this term.
If you have a disability or medical condition that may affect your full participation in Welcome Day, please contact email@example.com as soon as possible so that arrangements can be made to ensure full participation.
