Welcome Day was held virtually on Friday, January 8th.
It was an opportunity to:
- meet classmates, staff and others who will be a part of your new SFU community;
- learn about the SFU community;
- find out more about your program of study, and more!

If you are a new student starting at FIC in January, please see www.fraseric.ca.
Residence Week of Welcome is for all students who have a confirmed housing offer and will be moving into SFU Residence. This is in addition to campus events such as University Prep and Welcome Day.
University Prep is a free online course that will help you prepare for your academic transition to SFU. It will take about 45 minutes to complete and will take you step by step through what you need to know and do before classes start.
Kick Start Your Academic Success
Kick Start Your Academic Success is a free two-part workshop that provides you with an opportunity to develop time management habits, maximize your effectiveness in lectures, and assist you with researching and writing university level papers. This event takes place on January 7, 8 and 9.
