Whether you are new or returning to SFU, this is the place to find all of the fun, informative and interactive virtual events happening during the first month of the Spring term.
Month of Welcome will celebrate the start of the Spring 2021 term, connect you with fellow students, and get you excited to explore all that SFU offers to you. You can join online community activities and events to meet new people, connect with peers who have similar interests, learn about the variety of student clubs and groups to get involved with, and be entertained and informed.
It all kicks off on Friday, January 8 with Welcome Day, a virtual one-day, fun, engaging and interactive welcome and orientation event for all incoming SFU students.

These are just a few important details you can find out by attending the Virtual Services Fair! We’ve got you covered and you can drop in to virtual sessions at the Virtual Services Fair, happening on Friday, January 8. You’ll learn about 30+ services available to you, including community support, career and volunteer opportunities, academic success, health and wellness and lots of other university resources. Guaranteed, joining in will be time well spent.

Workshop/Interest Group Opportunities
Do you have a hobby or special interest? Chances are Simon Fraser Student Society (SFSS) has a student club or group of like-minded students who would love to connect with you. From anime to hiking, to introverts, knitters, singers and more—there’s at least one of 100+ clubs for you!
