Keep up your fitness and join the SFU Recreation community with our 11 weeks of free online workout classess! Four days a week, an SFU Recreation instructor will lead a virtual class through a variety of workouts - including yoga, bootcamp, and dance. Simply follow the links below to join us live, or click on a previous video to do a workout on your own!

 

MONDAY

Open Ballet

Ballet barre technique, stretching, and centre work in a small space. Beginners can follow along, and advanced dancers are welcome to scale up difficulty! Use a surface or piece of furniture between wrist and elbow height as your 'barre'.

TUESDAY

Hatha Yoga

Class Dates: May 18th - July 27th, 2021

An all levels Hatha yoga class that will give participants a change to stretch, strengthen and breathe. A great way to work at your own pace, lower stress levels and build core strength. Find full body relaxation and a clearer mind. All levels welcome!

Functional Fitness

Come have fun and get fit with Malcolm in this Functional Fitness workout! Some of the exercises will be bodyweight while others require bands or a light weight. These exercises can be easily modified for your fitness level. Just bring yourself and some water and get ready to learn something along the way!

Latin Dance Fitness

Latin Dance Fitness is a urban Latin Dance fitness class, blending a variety of latin rhythms and dembow. It's a great new cardio workout class this semester for those looking for a great workout! Energetic, modern and sexy!

Bollywood-inspired cardio dance-fitness that combines dynamic choreography with the hottest music from around the world. Expect to have a lot of fun as you dance to the beats of amazing Bollywood songs and unleash your inner rockstar!
