Summer Camps 2016

Simon Fraser University’s Surrey campus offers camps that are relevant to the community and which showcase our programs, students, and state-of-the-art, technologically advanced facilities. Afternoons may include various activities, like field trips, swimming, outdoor sports, games and movies. T-shirt included.

There is no pre-or post-camp care for SFU Surrey camps. Also, no lunch programs are offered.

All registrations are processed through the Camps Office on Burnaby Campus. Please register online (www.sfu.ca/camps) OR phone the Camps Office to register at 778-782-4965.

Games & Animation (10-14 years)

Learn the history of games, see how computer games are made, and how to design and build your own computer games. Create a wide variety of projects featuring 2D to 3D animation. Some previous knowledge of computer games and/or gaming consoles is necessary. Each camper will have their own computer for the camp. Campers will go outside to the park in the afternoon, weather permitting.

Computer Camp (8-14 years)

In this new camp you will create digital art, explore computer programming, work on website creations, and try your skills at games and animation. We will use the most recent versions of software. Each camper will have their own computer for the camp. Campers will go outside to the park in the afternoon, weather permitting.
