Surrey Campus Tour
What: Student-led tours around Surrey campus. Hear about Surrey's history and view its spectacular architecture while learning about services, programs, labs and more.
Where: Tours leave from the Tour Stop kiosk, near the Registrar and Information Services desk in the WestStone Group Grand Hall (Mezzanine level).
Campus Tours for individuals and families
If you are planning an individual or family/friends visit to campus, you book a tour by clicking on the link below. You will need to create an account, find the tour that works best for your schedule, and register for it:
Alternative Tour Times: Are you unable to attend one of our scheduled tours but would still like to visit the Surrey campus? Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we would be happy to arrange an alternative tour time for you.
Group Tours for groups of visiting prospective students or community groups
- Submit tour requests at least two weeks prior to your desired visit date.
- Provide one chaperone (e.g., teacher, parent, counsellor, or supervising adult) per 10 to 15 visitors.
- Requests for tours with students younger than Grade 10 must be emailed to email@example.com prior to submitting a request online.
- All tours are presented in English; students and visitors should have a moderate understanding of English. SFU does not provide translators.

The Faculty of Applied Sciences at SFU offers tours of our computing science and engineering labs and classrooms to students, parents and teachers. Tours are scheduled weekly at each campus and special tours and class visits can be arranged on request.

If you are interested in sitting in on a class at the Surrey campus, please contact the Faculty Advisor directly and let them know the class, date, and time in which you're interested. The advisor will liaise with the appropriate instructor to make arrangements.

Surrey Campus RECRUITER/ADVISOR
Admissions advising: Ask your questions about all SFU and/or Surrey campus-specific programs, services, and admissions processes. The advisor will help you determine the requirements for acceptance into your program of interest and make the transition to becoming a student easier.
Drop-in advising for prospective undergraduate students is available any Monday between 2:00 - 4:00 pm (no appointment necessary). To book an appointment please call 778-782-6930 and we will be happy to assist you. Booked appointments are generally available on Tuesdays from 9:00 - 10:00 am and Thursdays from 3:00 - 4:00 pm.
Appointment times are also available for Campus Tour guests immediately following campus tours on Mondays and Fridays.
Note: Drop-in advising hours for prospective students will be cancelled if they fall on major statutory holidays or during campus closures. Please check here to check campus weather and road conditions.
