From The Peak

Four SFU alumni—Edward Chiang, Sumreen Rattan, Gurmesh Sidhu, and Gabriel Soares—were featured in SFU's student newspaper The Peak to highlight what their company, Moment Energy, does to help reduce electric vehicle battery waste. All four founders are graduates of SFU's Mechtronic Systems Engineering program and have participated in the Coast Capital Savings Venture Connection entrepreneurship program.

On speaking about the goals of their company, co-founder Sumreen Rattan says, “Two of our primary goals as a company are to help increase the transition to renewable energy and also reduce the world’s diesel dependency."
