- SFU was Canada’s second designated Fair-Trade Campus and has been the recipient of multiple national and international awards for innovation, quality, productivity and communication for sustainability.
Goals and Targets
- In 2016, the SFU community of students, faculty, staff and senior leadership across the Burnaby, Vancouver and Surrey campuses, developed a 20-Year Sustainability Vision and Goals towards a sustainable future for the University. This, along with industry excellence standards, will lay the foundation for SFU's upcomingsustainability targets in operations, research, academics and campus engagement.
