David Hendrickson (PhD, Geography SFU) is a professional planner (MCIP RPP) and manages special projects at the Real Estate Foundation of British Columbia. He founded a university community partnership with Tufts University in Boston, MA and has extensive international experience in Asia and Latin America. David was a National Emerging Leader with the US Congress of Community Economic Development. His latest publications include integrating transportation and land use and developing  frameworks and indicators for tracking progress towards sustainability goals related to fresh water, the built environment, and food systems in BC. David is an avid vegetable gardener and enjoys puddle jumping with his family.
