Nick Graham, PhD

Biography

Nicolas Graham teaches in the Department of Sociology at the University of Victoria. His research combines critical political economy and political ecology in examining how the structures of capitalism and corporate power mediate the societal relation to the rest of nature. This research is the basis of his forthcoming book, Forces of Production, Climate Change and Canadian Fossil Capitalism (Brill, 2021). He is currently conducting research on competing political projects for energy transition and green transformation in Canada.
