Going Visual I: Cut Through Complexity with Drawing Basics
Wed, October 18, 2017 | 10:00–12:00 noon
Academic Quadrangle 5026, Burnaby campus
In a world of information overload, visual communication can be a powerful means of making your course content more accessible and engaging to learners. Simple acts such as adding a hand-drawn arrow to a PowerPoint slide can help learners process material in new ways. In this workshop, TLC interaction specialist Jason Toal will guide you through some basic drawing exercises and explore strategies for applying them to your teaching. No previous drawing experience needed.
Note: Going Visual I is the first workshop in a two-part series. Going Visual II focuses on the use of digital visual tools. Please register separately for each workshop.
