An infrastructure for openness
SFU is developing an infrastructure to support faculty members and instructors with an interest in open educational resources. In a recent interview, teaching librarian Hope Power discussed the move toward openness and the benefits she foresees. Read about her role and the upcoming "Adopting OER" workshop.
Techniques for presenting comfortably and confidently
Faculty members regularly speak in front of an audience, as do many staff members and graduate students. Quite a few have worked with Sanders Whiting, the TLC's teaching enhancement specialist for voice, who draws on his theatre and vocal training to help them feel at ease when they present. Find out what he tells them.
